College-bound seniors have an excellent resource in Scholarship Central, the Virginia Beach City Public Schools/ scholarship website which can be accessed at vbschools.com. This user friendly website which is updated on a weekly basis currently lists over 100 opportunities which students can research. In most cases, applications can be downloaded directly from the website. In some cases, organizations ask Tallwood’s Scholarship Committee to screen applications. Applications can be obtained in the guidance office and must be returned to guidance by the appropriate deadline. For scholarship questions, see Stacy Kepple in the guidance office.
