Tallwood H.S. Gifted Resource Program 2009-2010
Welcome to another exciting year !  I look forward to meeting you and helping you chart your way to academic success!
Gifted students are encouraged to participate in the programs offered at THS, and are invited to visit the Resource Room 124 during Lunch/Study Blocks with a signed planner.

Students interested in taking THINK TANK (9 &10)  or SPARKS  (11 &12) are warmly welcomed to see Mrs. Walker in the Gifted Resource Room 124 (right outside the Library Media Center). These classes are held on A Days during Blocks 2 or 3, are worth 1/2 an Elective credit and are offered each semester.

Gifted Testing Schedule
Please email Mrs. Lisa Walker lisa.walker@vbschools.com for information on how to be tested for the VBCPS Gifted Program. All paperwork is due at least ONE WEEK before the testing date, so planning ahead is encouraged.
2009-2010 Gifted Testing Dates ~ Tallwood HS
1st quarter – October 2      ( Only students new to VA Beach City Schools)
2nd quarter – November 20
4th quarter – May 25, 2010
